A Midnight Winter Snow

The ground so bare, dead leaves on the ground.
No trace of snow was able to be found.
No frost, no ice.
No snow on the ground,
Maybe a white Christmas won't come around.

Then a soft little howl and a soft little sound,
filled the air as the snow drifted down.
The clock rang twelve and Christmas came.
A white Christmas full of snow, not frozen rain.

Wind

I speak to you through calm wind,
down the winding path I blow.
The beautiful sky and the trees below.
A soft, spicy chill on the necks of the children.
Born to this world that was meant to be lived in.
Carrying the birds as they glide down the hill.
Soft little whispers and whistles so still.

The Sunset on the Waves

Can you taste the salty air?
Can you hear the sun say goodnight?
Can you see the sunset on the waves spreading out its light?

Can you feel the beauty in you midsts?
Can you touch the fiery flame?
Do you wish that every night this sunset would be the same?

A Hint of Fall

The leaves not yet brown, but a chill in the air
gives me a hint that fall will soon be here.
The sound of the birds as they make their way
southern for the winter to stay.

The sun, not a blaze anymore in the sky,
makes its way to say good bye,
gives me a hint that fall's growing nigh.
